Vero / COVU intelligence layer

Intelligence that helps the whole operation get work done.

Vero works across the COVU operating stack and service catalog. It can understand incoming work, assemble context, coordinate the next step, communicate by supported channels, and execute approved catalog actions.

Every capability has its own authority, confidence, evidence, and escalation rules.

What Vero does

From raw demand to a controlled next action.

Triage is part of the job, not the whole job. Vero helps the operation understand, coordinate, communicate, and execute across supported workflows.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Interpret the work

Classify the request, identify the customer need, and assemble relevant policy, account, document, and communication context.

02 / COORDINATE

Direct the next step

Decompose the work, choose an approved capability, identify missing context, and route exceptions to the right person.

03 / COMMUNICATE

Work across channels

Draft or perform supported email, text, and phone interactions, with the channel and approval boundary made explicit.

04 / EXECUTE

Complete supported steps

Carry out approved catalog actions, record what happened, verify the result, or escalate when authority or confidence requires it.

Vero capability catalog

Capabilities are named, bounded, and measurable.

Vero is not one universal agent with unlimited authority. The catalog defines what Vero can do for each workflow and channel, what context it needs, and when a person must take over.

Availability follows product truth

Availability depends on the workflow, channel, integration, agency configuration, and required authority.

CapabilityWhat Vero can doControl
Intake and triageClassify, deduplicate, create, prioritize, and route the request.Confidence + route
Customer communicationDraft or perform supported email, text, and phone interactions.Channel + consent
Work preparationExtract facts, summarize history, gather documents, and prepare the next step.Evidence + review
Task executionRun an eligible catalog action or invoke an approved tool within scope.Authority + gate
Quality and closureCheck the result, capture the receipt, update status, and escalate exceptions.Audit + escalation

How Vero moves work

Think across the operation. Act only inside the boundary.

Vero uses the same visible request, context, routing rules, and history as the rest of COVU. It does not create a disconnected AI conversation.

The control boundary

Consequential advice, coverage decisions, and licensed judgment remain human-owned. Vero can execute only supported actions with the required authority and evidence.

01
Demand enters from email, phone, text, or a created request.

The work becomes a visible operating record with customer context and history.

02
Vero interprets the request and selects a supported capability.

The catalog declares the required context, channel, authority, confidence, and escalation path.

03
Vero assists, communicates, or executes the approved step.

Some capabilities prepare the work; others can complete a bounded action or invoke a governed tool.

04
The result returns to the same work record.

Evidence, status, and next action remain visible to the agency.

05
Uncertainty and exceptions escalate to people.

Vero does not improvise past a confidence, authority, licensing, or policy boundary.

Governed intelligence

More capability should create more accountability.

The catalog makes the operating contract legible before Vero acts.

Authority before action

Each capability declares what Vero may do, what requires review, and what must route to qualified people.

Confidence drives the route

High-confidence supported work can move; uncertainty pauses, asks, or escalates instead of being hidden.

Evidence survives the action

Inputs, tools, communications, decisions, and outcomes stay attached to the same durable history.

Vero FAQ

Clear capability boundaries build trust.

Is Vero only for triage?

No. Triage is one capability. Vero can also assemble context, coordinate work, support email, text, and phone interactions, execute approved catalog steps, verify outcomes, and escalate exceptions.

Can Vero actually get work done?

Yes, where a named capability is supported and approved. Every execution capability has defined context, authority, confidence, evidence, and escalation requirements. Do not assume universal autonomous completion.

Can Vero communicate by phone or text?

Vero can support approved voice, text, and email capabilities where the channel, consent, integration, and workflow are configured and available.

Is Vero a licensed insurance advisor?

No. Vero can support operating work, but consequential insurance advice, coverage decisions, and licensed judgment remain human-owned.

How does Vero relate to Service Network?

Vero is COVU's intelligence layer and its own governed AI execution supply. Service Network is the broader execution rail that can include agency staff, qualified COVU or partner professionals, and approved AI capabilities.
